Hi everyone! I've been so busy lately that I've not had much time for crafting, which has not been fun! However, I've been around seeing all your beautiful projects and of course started something new and a bit Christmassy ❄️💙 This is the Snowflake SAL by Peppermint Purple and I've just finished the central motif. The rest of this piece will be blackwork in various shades of blue - but I'll not spoilt the surprise! The heavens have well and truly opened here, so I think I'll work a bit more on the outlines with a cup of coffee. Have a lovely Sunday evening pawb! 💙

These ones will be for the cover and back designs and I'll be cutting some even smaller ones for the inner case detail - best get sewing! Hello from a slightly wet Devon! It's been pretty much raining since we got here, but we did manage to have a walk through the sand dunes earlier when the weather broke. Being stuck in has meant plenty of time for knitting though, so I'm definitely not complaining 😉 I've complete my heel flap and turned it, picked up my stitches and finished the decreases, so it's just the foot left to knit! This fabulous design is called Draig Dân and is by the very clever @stitchydragon 💙 The yarn is by one of my favourite dyers, @lottieknits on her Little Bird Sock and the colours are Spruce and Spring 💜 I'm using these tiny lace markers to keep track of the repeats and I'm very glad of them! You can find them at Emma's store over at @atomicknitting 💚

One thing I really love about EPP is how portable

One thing I really love about EPP is how portable it is. If you've been around for a while, you'll know I'm a fan of miniatures and so I thought I'd try to shrink an EPP project. I have these half inch hexiform templates from @ashmeaddesigns (thank you for the quick delivery by the way!) I've bought some 100wt thread and some needles that I know I'm going to stick myself with a million times 😂 I feel I'm going to need to make a project bag for this too. If only I'd done a bit more shopping......oh, wait.....😉

I've been a bit quiet on here but I thought I'd share what I've been working on quietly 🌈 Before Pride month ends, I wanted to have some rainbow project in my rotation and I've had the yarn for these socks in my stash for ages! They are called the Rainbow Zigzag Socks by @winwickmum and you can find the pattern in Christine's second book; More Super Socks 💜 These are another stranded knitting project, which I'm finding so much fun now I can knit using both hands!

I don't think I've ever been so happy to see Frida

I don't think I've ever been so happy to see Friday come around! It's been such a busy week and I just want to have a simple project to unwind with so I treated myself to this jelly roll from @modafabrics 💙 The collection is called Flowers for Freya and it's calming teal blues and yellow greens. I'm going to use them for a hexie quilt while I relax in front of the telly. I'm not going to think about placement too much, but let it grow as it wants. Have a calm and craft filled evening everyone!

I've been knitting more on my very neglected Slipstravaganza today 💙 It had been so long that it took ages to figure out where I was, so let that be a lesson to anyone with a big wip pile 😂 I'm now halfway through section 3, which is a diamond pattern. I'd also forgotten how soft this yarn from Skein Queen is 😍 I really need to find my longer cable too, but I have a feeling it's "in use" somewhere 😜

A finish! We have a finish on my page! The pattern does add some fringe to this, but after adding a few bits, I thought it was getting a bit too long so as this is something just to wrap up in at home, I'm skipping that bit. It's really chunky and has a good bit of weight with almost 8 balls of this aran yarn in it! I just love it - roll on winter!

We have a pocket! We are away in Bristol this weekend, so I haven't brought the scarf as it's too chunky, but the pockets are perfect portable crochet 😁 Just one more to make and then we can join then on and make the fringe!
