I just have to share this with you all! Last year I saw some beautiful EPP on the talented @laneyrose73 's page and it was the Patchwork of the Crosses, block of the month club. Unfortunately, I was too late to the party and there weren't any spaces left, so as soon as I saw @sewandquilt were running this again this year, I had to sign up! This is the first box and of course I will be starting this tomorrow! Thank you to Jessie and the team over at Sew and Quilt for a perfectly packaged parcel 💙

Part 6 of Charlotte's Universe is well underway and we are almost back to a square. I had every intention of keeping up to date with this CAL when it was released, but obviously kinda failed at that 😂 Not to worry though as I'm really enjoying how this is working up in my crochet threads and it's such a beautifully written pattern. I do find that I crochet slower with thread, but it's perfect for keeping me in the moment and not rushing through to get to the next part.
The pattern is of course by the fabulously talented @barbertondaisy and my favourite Sugar Rush threads are from Scheepjes 💙

Happy New Year everyone! So I managed to fall asleep well before midnight and missed seeing the end of 2021, but we were up early to come over to Bristol 💜
I've brought over my miniature Charlotte's Universe and here's the finished part 5 😁 Foolishly I have forgotten what my lighter blue is and I'll definitely need more, so looks like I'll have to order a few shades 😂
I hope 2022 brings us all happier times and a bottomless yarn stash 😉

Happy Christmas to all my friends celebrating today! 🎄 I was obviously on Santa's good list this year and was spoilt by this fabric and paper cutter 😍 I really want to do more EPP this year, so this will save loads of time on the prep and give me more time stitching! It's really sturdy (read heavy) so getting this back to London will be fun! Watch your toes 😉

I think it's safe to share this now, as it will be gifted tomorrow! My brother asked if I could knit him a hat, and of course I had to! I picked the fab Dustland hat from @westknits and used @stylecraftyarns Special DK in Graphite. My brother has sensitive skin and anything woollen is prone to itching, so this lovely, soft acrylic will avoid that!

Hi everyone! Sorry, I've been a bit absent recently as I've been getting over a bad cold and work has been quite busy! Fortunately, I'm feeling loads better (it wasn't COVID) and my work is almost under control 😉 I have been doing a little bit of Christmas knitting, which I'll share soon as it's a present for my brother, and I've also added a few more colours to my Lucky Dip Cowl, which is a fabulous kit from the lovely Victoria at @edencottageyarns 💙 It was my car knitting project when we were away in Wales, although some of the roads were a bit too windy for knitting 😂 I just have a few Yarnlings left to knit in and I know I'm going to need more as they are so lovely to use! Scrappy socks, anyone? 😍

It's the final night of our Welsh break and I real

It's the final night of our Welsh break and I really am not ready to head back yet! I'm consoling myself with a much neglected project, my miniature version of Charlotte's Universe 💙 I'm working through part 6 and I'm running low on Old Lace, but it is back in stock now. I am just waiting for the 2 blues to get back in, and I'll order more. I think my lighter blue is Bluebird and the darker is Charcoal - probably should have noted that down 😂 The threads are of course my fave Sugar Rush by @scheepjes and this pattern is free over on Dedri's blog (@barbertondaisy) if you missed it!

We are having a little break in North Wales this week, so I've cast on the perfect car knitting project from @edencottageyarns and it's Victoria's Lucky Dip cowl, which I shared the other day. We've been on a hike today and on the way home stopped off at Llanberis Pass so I thought I'd share the view as it's so beautiful! Happy Monday everyone!
